Privacy notice
This is a short notice because this is a simple website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from advertising networks. The only personal details it handles are the ones you choose to send us.
Who we are
CBM Decorators, a painting and decorating business based in Redruth, Cornwall. For anything about your data, email CBM.Decorators@outlook.com.
The contact form
When you send an enquiry we receive your name, the email address or phone number you give, and what you wrote about the job. We use those details to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass your details to anyone else for marketing.
The form is delivered to our inbox by an email sending service, Resend, which processes the message in order to deliver it. Enquiry emails are kept in our mailbox for as long as we need them to deal with the job, and deleted after that.
If you phone, message us on WhatsApp or email us directly, the same applies: we keep what we need to do the job and nothing more.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media tracking scripts, which is why there is no cookie banner. Fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party.
One thing is stored in your browser, not on any server: the colour visualiser remembers the scene and colours you last chose so they are still there if you come back. That stays on your device, never leaves it, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Hosting and logs
Like any website, the server that hosts this one records basic technical information about requests, such as the address the request came from and the page asked for, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those records to identify visitors.
Links to other sites
The site links to our Google Business Profile, our Facebook page, and on the colour visualiser page to paint manufacturers’ own websites. Those sites have their own privacy notices and set their own cookies once you are there.
Your rights
You can ask what details we hold about you, ask for them to be corrected or deleted, or object to how they are used, by emailing the address above. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If the site ever starts using cookies, analytics or embedded maps, this notice will be updated first and a cookie notice added where the law requires one.
